Crius All In One Pro Flight Controller Manual
I see rctimer is selling these for $63, and it looks to have pretty similar hardware spec to the APM2. It says that it supports Multiwii and MegapirateNG code. The most important part of your arducopter is the flight controller. There are currently two main boards to choose from, APM2.6 or Pixhawk. The flight controller keeps your multi-rotor stable while you are flying in manual mode, and can take over to fly to 3D waypoints when you fly in autonomous mode.

And I wasnt even the one who instigated the vulgarity January 04, 2018, 11:50:18.: January 03, 2018, 09:34:13.: @A7 just wait until you get old the shriveling is permanent whatever the temp. January 03, 2018, 09:17:39.: Yeah, shriveling in the winter cold can be a problem January 03, 2018, 09:11:55.: I once had one cell in a 6S pack shrivel to near nothing over winter storage (in storage mode). Wasn't happy as it was a £150 Align pack!!
Mode) January 03, 2018, 07:51:27.: wasnt shorted, pack had worked flawlessly for the last 3monthes, just went to charge it earlier and got a cell error, checked it and the third cell was zero'd while the others stood solid at 4v, checked it again when I took it apart and removed the cell. Absolute zero'd, not even a sniffta of voltage, wierd aye?
January 02, 2018, 22:23:18.: Wast 0v open cct or 0v shorted? I have had a couple delivered with one cell short so pack runs as 3S weighted 2S! January 02, 2018, 21:32:51.: tsk, I only used it two days ago too, showed no signs of issues and its one of my newest 4s packs, least as its 4s I was able to remove the zero'd cell and rebuild it into a 3s so least its still of some use. January 02, 2018, 19:22:04.: SD- Hell, I have had them DELIVERED like that!!
January 02, 2018, 19:15:23.: Yeah usually nanotech packs do that January 02, 2018, 18:32:21.: anyone ever had a lipo cell completely die on them?, I dont mean loose full voltage, I mean completely zero itself while the other cells are still fine? January 02, 2018, 16:50:50.: Normally, folk here say 'no video, it didn't happen', but I think that on this occasion we can let that pass.
January 02, 2018, 10:02:25.: If it was heavier than two pounds it should have been lowered by hand. January 02, 2018, 09:32:13.: I had my first 2018 dump about an hour ago. Does that qualify for celebration?it had nuts and alsorts in it January 01, 2018, 22:52:33.: B/hell just got to sleep and half the neighbourhood started a small pyrotechnic war. Hi Falcon26 and welcome to the forum you only need one red (vcc) and one black (gnd) between the receiver and the flight controller the reason for this is because inside the receiver and on the flight controller all the red (vcc) pins are linked together and all the black (gnd) pins are also linked to gether to so if you connect any of them its the same as connecting all of them, you only then need to connect the signal wire from each channel of the receiver to the flight controller, most people connect the throttle with signal / vcc / gnd and then just signal to the rest hope this helps. Well, I have what seems to be a similar problem to what ausi1972 described - When powering the board through USB there is no problem to arm/disarm the board using YAW stick on radio. However, when connecting power wither using ESC (jumper on) or external UBEC (jumper removed) - can';t arm the board. Very strange.
The only walk-around I could find is to provide power to the receiver using external UBEC, and suddenly can arm the board using yaw stick. Did I say 'Strange'??? This is cumbersome, but more importantly it shows that a problem is hiding there and what I did is to 'override' it rather than solve it.
Ausi1972';s description might point to a similar problem. I will be very happy to hear if others have similar problems, or if anyone can think of an explanation and solution. My setup: MegaPirateNG 2.8R3, Spectrum DX6i, RCTimer Crius AIOP v2, mounted on a mean HEX machine, 30A SimonK ESC (RCTimer) Thank you much! (it';s already been around 6 hours of frustration trying to make things work). Hi Jumpy07 First and foremost, Thank you for the excellent guide!!
Yes, V2 board. No, didn';t check the 5V rail. But am using the same UBEC, and it works when connected to the receiver, and doesn';t work when connected to the extended power. Radio calib - pulses look normal.

Reading around, I see people are having similar problems. I wonder if ausi1972';s diode is the key to it all. The other option is that the card is 'super-sensitive' to voltage values, and that different voltage routes create different voltage values on the card. I';m currently clueless. My apologies if this topic has come up before but I am at a complete dead end! I have the Crius Aio Pro V2 board from RC Timer and have loaded Megapirate NG2.8.
Having used Aduino to set up the board wit the MegapirateNG s/w over 20 times with different.h param changes to configure my JR PCM9XII Tx (9303 in US), I still have no motors firing up/arming or Servo working on my Tricopter. The red and green leds are flashing intermittently but no change when yaw stick moved either right or left for up to 20 seconds! H Does this board not work at all for a Tricoptor? Last but not least, in APM Planner I can see my 3dr radio working correctly, GPS working correctly (CN 06), and RC working correctly. No data on motors or servo available.
Do I have to start again from scratch and use Multiwii to get this board working? Somebody pleeeeeeeeeeeeease help!!! Many thanks, Jimbo. Love the guide, but unfortunately, starting to hate the board!
