Whereas with other samplers you will have to try to script a glide mode, this intricate and important feature is built right into the UVI engine. What is UVI Workstation? UVI Workstation is a brand new sampler/synthesis workstation that allows developers like Gospel Musicians to produce Kontakt-like functions such as a beautiful interface, scripting, and advanced functions. It was the engine behind Spectrasonics and it has some advanced functions that that are sure to make you a happy musician. The main thing we love about UVI is that it is very powerful and possesses many of the same functions and power as Kontakt. Best of all, UVI Free player is compatible with Logic, ProTools, FL Studio, Cubase, GarageBand, Studio One, Nuendo, Sonar, Digital Performer and works as a standalone app. For Pure Sine, we had to use UVI due to its more advanced and built-in ability to use the slide, glide, and portamento functions to make the synth sound like a real analogue instrument.
